SFA Donates to Regional Food Banks
December 18th, 2009
Jim Wells, left, Board President of Salmon For All, hands a check for $500 to support the Clatsop Regional Food Bank to Marlin Martin, center, Food Program Developer, and George Sabol, right, Clatsop Community Action Executive Director. Said Wells, “Those of us in the Columbia River gillnet industry are very grateful for the support we’ve gotten from our community members over the years. This is just one small way we can return the favor. A lot of people are hurting this holiday season. We know exactly what that feels like. Here’s wishing them a Merry Christmas.” Donations are also being made to the Clatskanie Emergency Food Pantry, and to the St. James Family Center in Cathlamet, Washington.
