The 12th annual Fisher Poets Gathering took place in Astoria, Oregon at the end of February 2009. Building on a surprisingly successful first event in 1998, each year since then the Fisher Poets Gathering has grown in size and in following. The 13th annual Fisher Poets Gathering will be held February 26, 27 & 28, 2010.

The Fisher Poets Gathering has been featured in articles published by the Seattle Post Intelligencer, Smithsonian magazine, Wall Street Journal, and New York Times, among others, as well as featured on NPR, Oregon Public Brodcasting’s “Art Beat,” and NBC’s “Today Show.” Following are some links to archived articles:
